Travel Itinerary
The First Day - Airport to Mikumi National Park in Dar es Salaam
Upon your arrival at Dar Es Salaam International Airport, you will be greeted and escorted to a charming local eatery nearby for a delicious lunch. Following this, you will set off on a scenic drive to Mikumi National Park, with the journey lasting approximately 4 hours. Upon reaching Mikumi, you will be warmly welcomed at Mikumi Bush Camp where you will complete the check-in process. Enjoy a delightful dinner at the camp before retiring for the night, preparing for the exciting adventures planned for the following day!
The Second Day - National Park of Mikumi
Following an early morning meal, you will set off towards Mikumi National Park, equipped with packed lunches. This park ranks as the second largest in the country, just after Serengeti National Park. Within its boundaries, you will have the opportunity to observe a diverse array of wildlife, such as a sizable elephant herd, giraffes, impala antelope, lions, wildebeest, buffalo, and numerous zebras, along with various bird species and crocodiles. In the afternoon, a break will be taken at a designated spot for lunch and refreshments before continuing the safari until late evening. Upon conclusion, you will return to the campsite for dinner and your overnight accommodation.
The Third Day - Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park Route
Begin your day bright and early by setting off for an early morning game drive at sunrise within the park. The early hours offer a special opportunity to witness increased animal activity as they engage in hunting and feeding. Following the game drive, your journey will continue towards Dar es Salaam, where you will be conveniently dropped off at your preferred destination, marking the conclusion of your safari adventure.
