Travel Itinerary

First Day - Journey from Arusha to the Serene Wilderness of Tarangire National Park

After enjoying a hearty breakfast at 7:00 am, we will set off carrying our packed lunch and head towards Tarangire National Park for an entire day of exploring the park with a group. Situated in the Manyara Region of Tanzania, Tarangire National Park is the country's sixth-largest national park. Its name is derived from the Tarangire River that flows through the park, providing vital fresh water to the wildlife in the Tarangire Ecosystem, especially during the dry season. This ecosystem is notable for the seasonal migration of wildebeest and zebras over long distances. Around midday, we will pause for a delightful brunch before continuing our game drive. Later in the day, we will return to the Manyara Area for dinner and spend the night there.

The Second Day - From Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha: A Journey Through Tanzania's Stunning Landscapes

Begin your adventure at 9:00 am by making your way down the crater rim for a thrilling full-day exploration, complete with a delightful picnic lunch. The region is home to an impressive array of wildlife, boasting a population of over 25,000 large animals, including 26 majestic black rhinoceros. Among these creatures are 7,000 wildebeests, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 eland, and 3,000 Grant's and Thomson's gazelles. The crater is renowned for hosting the highest concentration of lions, with a count of 62. As you ascend to the lush rainforests of the crater rim, you may encounter leopards, around 30 magnificent elephants, mountain reedbuck, and over 4,000 buffalos, along with spotted hyenas, jackals, rare wild dogs, cheetahs, and various other feline species. Witness the awe-inspiring annual migration of wildebeests and zebras as they traverse through Ngorongoro. This extraordinary phenomenon sees 1.7 million ungulates journeying south into the area in December and then heading north in June. The migration spectacle includes 1.7 million wildebeests, 260,000 zebras, and 470,000 gazelles crossing the plains of the reserve. Conclude your day with a scenic drive back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
