1. General Overview
At Ladha Tours, we are committed to providing you with a seamless and memorable safari experience across Tanzania. Due to the nature of our services—which involve third-party bookings, park permits, and logistical arrangements—our return and refund policies are designed to be fair while ensuring operational commitments are met.
2. Cancellation by the Customer
a) Flexible Tours (Day Trips and Short Excursions)
- 100% Refund: If cancelled at least 7 days before the scheduled tour date.
- 50% Refund: If cancelled 3–6 days before the tour date.
- No Refund: If cancelled within 48 hours of the tour start time.
b) Multi-Day Safaris and Lodge-Based Tours
- 100% Refund: If cancelled 30 days or more in advance.
- 50% Refund: If cancelled between 15–29 days in advance.
- 25% Refund: If cancelled between 7–14 days in advance.
- No Refund: If cancelled less than 7 days in advance.
Note: Refunds exclude non-recoverable costs such as park fees, accommodation deposits, and transaction charges.
3. Cancellation by Ladha Tours
In rare cases where Ladha Tours must cancel your booking due to:
- Force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, pandemic restrictions)
- Park closures
- Vehicle breakdowns
- Guide illness or unforeseen events
We will:
- Offer an alternative date or itinerary (where possible)
- Or issue a full refund, excluding services already rendered
4. No-Shows and Late Arrivals
- No refunds will be issued for missed tours due to late arrival, failure to appear at the designated pickup point, or lack of travel documents (e.g., passports, visas).
5. Modifications and Rescheduling
- Customers may request to reschedule their tour at least 72 hours before departure. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional costs depending on the season and accommodation rates.
6. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days.
- Refunds are issued via the original payment method, minus any bank or payment processor fees.
